livingLAB designed public space at Wayne State University successfully crowdfunded.
When seeking to transform an important campus gateway into an active, family-friendly public space Wayne State University looked to livingLAB for design guidance. The pop-up style design includes native landscaping, seating, shade sails, and lawn games oriented around the Warren Q Line Station. The campaign kicked-off at Woodbridge Pub with drinks, appetizers, and a prize raffle. WSU met their campaign goal of $25,000 in late November with MEDC committed to matching every dollar. Construction is expected to begin in 2018.
