livingLAB staff had a great, sweaty, dirty time volunteering with the good folks at ‘Brilliant Detroit’ and one of their neighborhood hub houses in Southwest Detroit. They helped build raised planting beds and assemble a picnic table for the backyard. With the help of donations from other businesses at the Green Garage, we were also able to deliver diapers, wipes, pajamas, tables, chairs, puzzles, books and more. Established in 2015, Brilliant Detroit is a non-profit organization that has created several neighborhood hubs and early learning centers around the City of Detroit. What livingLAB likes most about the organization is that they work closely with the neighborhood to locate, staff and program each hub and they have an infectious passion for kids! Keep up the great work!
